debian-timeline software package provides Web-based timeline of the Debian Project, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install debian-timeline
debian-timeline is installed in your system.
Make ensure the debian-timeline package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep debian-timeline *
You will get with debian-timeline package name, version, architecture and description in a table
